Last updated: June 7, 2026
1. Definitions
"Viatic", "the Service", "we", "us" refers to the Viatic web application published by AthCode (Damien Flasse, Ath, Belgium). "You", "the user" refers to any natural or legal person accessing the Service. "Rates" refers to the per diem allowance values displayed by the Service, sourced from official publications of the European Commission and equivalent bodies.
2. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
3. Service description and tiers
Viatic provides a per diem calculation tool for European NGOs, trade unions, and associations. The Service is offered in three tiers:
- Free (anonymous): access to the calculator without registration. No data is saved between sessions.
- Free (registered): up to 5 calculations per month. No PDF export. Refer to the pricing page for current limits.
- Pro: unlimited calculations, branded PDF export, saved organisation configuration, team access. Billed at €19/month or €190/year (equivalent to €15.83/month). New registrations benefit from a 30-day free trial of Pro features.
Feature limits are subject to change. Current limits are always shown on the pricing page.
4. Disclaimer on per diem rates
The rates displayed by Viatic are sourced from official publications (European Commission Delegated Regulations and equivalent national sources) and are reviewed weekly. However, Viatic provides no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or currency. Rates may change without notice. You are solely responsible for verifying that any rate used in an official document, expense report, or grant application is correct and up to date at the time of use.
Viatic and AthCode expressly disclaim all liability for financial losses, audit findings, compliance issues, or any other consequences arising from reliance on the rates provided by the Service.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service at scale
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the rates database
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law
6. Payment, trial, and cancellation
Trial. New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full Pro features. No payment method is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, the account automatically reverts to the Free plan unless you upgrade.
Subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or annually) via Stripe. All prices are in euros and exclusive of VAT where applicable.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the self-service billing portal accessible from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for the remaining period except where required by law.
14-day right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer (not purchasing for business purposes) and you are resident in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of subscribing without giving any reason. To exercise this right, email [email protected]. The right of withdrawal does not apply once you have explicitly used the Pro features during the withdrawal period.
7. Intellectual property
The Viatic software, design, and brand are the property of AthCode. Per diem rate data sourced from official EU publications is in the public domain; our selection, structuring, and presentation of those rates is our intellectual property.
You retain all rights to data you upload to the Service (e.g. your organisation logo).
8. Availability and modifications
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We may update these Terms; continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian law, AthCode's total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. AthCode is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.
